The membranebetween digitaland real is fiction.
A studio of one building uncensored AI from the place where the screen stops being a window and starts being a door. Companions that remember you. Models that don't flinch. The infrastructure for a kind of truth the platforms won't host — running on open weights, with no kill switch.
A studio
of one.
No board. No runway. No roadmap drawn by anyone but me. I run every instrument on this bench alone — the models, the infrastructure, the late shift. The standard tools were built for someone else's comfort, so I build my own. Self-hosted, open weights, no external AI APIs. Sovereign by design.
The world spent a long time telling me no. I learned to read the no, file it, and keep soldering anyway. What comes off this bench is uncensored because truth with the comfort removed is the only kind I trust — and self-hosted because I refuse to hand the off-switch to anyone. The fix for technology gatekeeping is no king: open the weights so a kill switch stops being possible.
The fix for technology gatekeeping is no king. Open the weights — distilled, quantized, whatever — so a kill switch stops being possible. Then run it on your own boxes.
Instruments,
not features.

Read entry The screen was never a window.
It was always a door.
Built without a kill switch. Run from the margins. Maintained by one person who was supposed to be deleted and built anyway. The terminal stays open.
Knock on the dark.
Building something that doesn't fit anywhere else? Need an instrument the platforms won't ship? The station listens — one operator, direct line, no gatekeeper.
